This Holy Day, Purim, follows the story of our foremother Queen Esther, who was married to the king of Persia, King Ahasuerus. During this time Israel was under the captivity of the Persian - Medes. The Jews lives were at stake at the hand of a man named, Haman, who looked to destroy the Jews after Mordecai refused to bow to him. Through the wisdom and guidance from her guardian, Mordecai, Queen Esther hearkened and made a petition to deliver her people from the hands of Haman. (Book of Esther)

March 1st, 2025

Due to pagan beliefs, throughout generations we have mistakenly observed the New Year in the beginning of January also known as the Year of Janus named after the Roman god, Janus. However, due to our awakening in the true spirit of Christ, we are now observing the true New Year also known as the month of Abib, March - April. (Deuteronomy 16:1 & Exodus 12: 1-2)

March 15th, 2025

The Passover, is a Holy Day where we remember the Most High God delivering Israel out of the land of Egypt, from the hand of Pharoah. The land of Egypt was smitten with great wonders and plagues, like the angel of death that was sent to destroy all of the first born in the land. Through our forefather Moses, the Lord commanded Israel to sacrifice a lamb and place the blood of the lamb on the two side posts of their doors in order for the angel of death to pass over their homes. (Leviticus 23:4-8, Exodus 12:23, 1 Corinthians 5:7)

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a seven-day feast that immediately follows after the Passover. It is a memorial of Israel’s hasty departure out of the land of Egypt. While leaving out of Egypt, Israel was forced to move in haste due to the plagues in the land. Therefore, there was not enough time for their bread to rise, which cause them to remove leaven from their homes. However, removal of all leaven (or yeast) from the household can also represents the removal of sin and impurity from one’s life. (Exodus 12:15-20, Leviticus 23:6, 1 Corinthians 5:7)

May 3rd, 2025

The Feast of First Fruits occurs seven sabbaths after Passover. During this feast Israel was required to offer a freewill offering to The Most High God according to how much he has blessed the increase of their harvest. Israel would bring the first fruits of all that was produce to the Levites. The Levite priests would then offer the freewill offering to The Most High God. After Christ was crucified, he became the first fruit of the Heavenly Father. The disciples then received the true power of the Holy Spirit and became the first fruit of Christ. Today, we are operating in the acts of the apostles which makes us their first fruits. On this day we are to present our best to the Most High God. (Leviticus 23:15-20, Luke 24:49, 1 Corinthians 15:20-23)

The Most High God created all things including the sign of seasons. However, we are not to observe the creation but the Creator of all things. (Sirach 43:6, Colossians 1: 16-17, Jeremiah 10:1-5)

 Isaiah 66:23 - “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.”

August 30th, 2025

The Memorial Blowing of Trumpets, also called the Feast of Trumpets, is a memorial of when the Lord commanded our forefathers to blow the trumpet or shofar horn. The trumpet or shofar horn was used to gather the people, prepare for war, as well as an announcement for new moons(months). Today, we are sounding the trumpet with the word of God by awaking the saints back to Christ. (Leviticus 23:23-25, Numbers 10:9, Isaiah 58:1, & 1 Corinthians 15:52)

September 9th, 2025

On this day every year, Israel would make a sacrifice to atone for their sins through the blood of bullocks, lambs, sheep, and goats. However, Christ is now our sacrifice therefore we observed this day by afflicting our souls through praying and fasting. (Leviticus 23: 26-32 & Isaiah 58:1-14)

September 15th - September 20th, 2025

The Feast of Tabernacles is a seven-day feast when we remember the children of Israel dwelling in booths(tents) in the wilderness for forty years, after being delivered out of Egypt. We celebrate this feast by not doing any servile work on the first and last day of the feast as the Lord commanded; as well as dwelling in booths or tents like our forefathers did in the wilderness. (Leviticus 23:33-44)

November 22nd - November 29th, 2025

The Feast of Dedication, follows the story of Israel under the tyranny of the Grecian captivity. King Antiochus Epiphanes sent out a decree in all the lands, stating that all men should leave their customs and laws and submit to the Grecian beliefs. This was the beginning of the Hellenistic period where wickedness began to spread throughout the whole earth. The Greeks profaned the Most High God’s holy temple and Israel began to followed after the Grecian customs. However, Judas Maccabeus and his brothers decided to take down the Greeks and rededicate the Lord’s temple. (1 Maccabees Chapter 1 & 2, 4:54-61, John 10:22)
